I travelled Europe several times, always get lost in these historic small town, they all looks beautiful, small stone country road, many nice church,different colour of the houses…
I love spend the whole afternoon, lazy lie down to enjoy a cup of coffee, sometimes I go to in search of a souvenir, a magnet or cup for friends, sometimes buy a small souvenir for friends, it is also for saving our memory. Most of time, I just window shopping, for most of the gifts are similar.
One time in this small souvenir shop in Italy I see something different.This shop from outside you can already see they stick many ceramic elements.When you go inside, you will find there are hundreds of elements in different shape, so many to choose, sun, star, moon, long wave, sea, some different boats, lighthouse, and the tower on a hill. Also there are many characters, many faces including yours. ^-^ All of them are handmade terracotta,with attention to detail, shapes and colours.
So I begin to look, the more I look,the more I realize that I am in a nice place with memmory,moments of life, loves and families, then I can not stop and try to choose some elements, I read every written passage and try to find my own. Then a nice man come, he said I can help you realize your picture if you want. Perhaps he knew what we think? How can he make our thinking realized?
when I was young, I dream of climb into the moon, so I choose the moon and the star.they help me to draw a lift on the rock and add some birds on my drawing.It turn out into very nice picture.
It is very nice gift,isn’t it? It is very lucky that we also meet Angelo,the creator of this place, where tells many stories ,he told me that his adventure with ceramice begins at 35th, when he decides to bet on himself with courage and creativity, he keep thinking of an innovative way of making pottery, so today we see this shop , with love ,life, and with many people’s story come ture.
